Health and Safety

Our Health and Safety Support Package has been designed to meet the requirements of the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999 and the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005.

Both of the above regulations place a statutory requirement on every employer/responsible person to appoint one or more competent persons to assist them to meet their legal health and safety obligations.

This means an employer must appoint someone competent to provide sound advice on all matters of health and safety.

We offer our clients three levels of health and safety consultancy: health and safety audit, risk assessment service and full support package.

Health and Safety Support Package

Our health and safety package is highly customisable and designed to ensure you and your business comply with the health and safety legislation. A typical package is outlined below.

Health and Safety Audit

  • Face to face alignment meeting at your premises
  • Internal audit of your existing policies, risk assessment, records, safety arrangements and procedures
  • Prepare new safety documentation as required
  • Provide a detailed report and alignment plan followed by briefing to management
  • Assessment of your organisations health and safety training requirements
  • Carry out a 6 monthly site visit to undertake a review


  • Act as your competent person for health & safety and fire safety, allowing you to use of SOA Safety’s name in this capacity
  • Act as your health and safety appointed person and competent adviser
  • Mediation with any enforcing authorities (e.g. HSE, OFSTED, and insurance companies)
