Crucial funding was at risk due to fire safety concerns raised by a health and safety audit on behalf of the trustees of a charity supporting homeless people in North Yorkshire. SOA Safety provided a new fire risk assessment and worked with the homeless project to deliver exemplary standards of fire safety. The next trustees’ review highly commended the progress on fire safety – enabling unprecedented funds to be released. 

“The previous existing fire risk assessment had clearly been done by a person competent in fire safety, but that was not enough. In SOA’s fire risk assessments, we always provide a detailed action plan, linked to the hazards and cross-referenced to the RRO guidance documents. And the success story continues – the charity has attracted more funding from a household name sponsor and is expanding their number of premises.
