Harrogate Springboard Project
It is a good thing
that we at SOA Safety enjoy a challenge! The conversion of Wesley Chapel
House, a 3 storey Victorian residential building in central Harrogate, into a
modern drop-in support centre with amenities to help vulnerable and homeless
people, was certainly challenging.
“Until this project, the building had always been a private
residence and modern standard health and safety practices had never been
applied. It was like starting from scratch but with the challenge of
achieving the right level of safety at minimum cost and disruption. We
presented options and through discussions with the management team identified
the best fit for their needs. This was so important because any
unnecessary expense or disruption would impact directly on the critical
services being provided to people in real need of support. We are very proud to
have contributed to the fantastic work being done by Liz Hancock and the
team." Jim Lynch (SOA Safety Engineering Director).
