Course summary

This half day course introduces the dangers of and suitable control measures for dealing with harmful substances. The course is designed to provide delegates with awareness in the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) and how it may affect them, their colleagues and their employer. Under the COSHH Regulations, employers must provide sufficient information, instruction and training so that employees are fully aware of the risks to health from exposure and the precautions they need to take. The course material / handouts are used in conjunction with the Health and Safety Legislation and associated guidance from the Health and Safety Executive (HSE).
