Meet the Team

Our safety team includes consultants and trainers from scientific, engineering, software, defence, security, telecoms and fire-service backgrounds.

Utilising approaches and best practices from each of these discipline our team are able to provide modern techniques with a professional service.

We provide Chartered Engineers, MSc Qualified Safety Professionals, and Qualified Safety Advisors. We pride ourselves on remaining current with legislation and standards, ensuring our staff attend and contribute to seminars and conferences. Furthermore, our safety team are continually assessed for their competency and knowledge through regular team presentations, formal training and annual personal development reviews.

Andy Anderson CEng FIET - Managing Director
Andy is a highly experienced safety consultant and project manager. Andy has over 35 years Project Management, Engineering and Safety Management experience, within the marine, defence, nuclear, commercial and fire safety sectors and has project managed large high-profile safety cases. He specialises in providing conscientious and enterprising engineering with sound interpersonal and communication skills.
Lee Anderson BSc (Hons) - Technical Director
Lee has over seven years engineering experience covering software, safety and fire disciplines, where projects have ranged from fire risk assessments of large places of assembly to fire dynamics of nuclear installations. Lee specialises in the application of fire dynamics and the development and implementation of software tools to meet the demands of highly regulated (and varying) environments.
Joe Little - Fire Safety Manager / Principal Consultant and Trainer
Dean Anderson - Multimedia Developer
For the past twelve months Dean has operated as Technical Advisor for SOA Safety, The role has required assisting in carrying out safety risk assessments for a variety of facilities, equipment and activities from small premises to confined space equipment and fire trailers. Additionally, Dean’s role has required undertaking fire safety preliminaries, including floor plan creation, responsible person interviews and fire systems design.
Clare Heap - Principal Trainer
Jon Dawes - Supply and Services Manager
Jon has been with us since October 2009 and his main role is to support all work in the office both administrative and technically. Jon has begun to produce floor plans as well as sourcing various Health and Safety products. He also carries out research and updates on legislation.

Brian Woods - Senior Systems Engineer
Brian is enthusiastic and motivated multi skilled manager and engineer, with over 30 years experience in the highly demanding military environment. This has taught the significance of attention to detail and the necessity to remain positive and focused throughout. He has been successful in developing my military skills and transferring them to my current role as Senior Safety Engineer.
